Chi Machine® FAQ's
Q) I will be moving to Europe. Can I take my Chi Machine and
HotHouse and use them there?
A) We manufacture both a 120V/60Hz(Item #6018) and a 220V/50Hz
(Item #6014) version of the Chi Machine.
Because the Chi Machine motor does not function well on a
transformer, we don ' t suggest using 120V/60Hz Chi Machine in
Europe. We recommend you acquire the 240V model. The HotHouse is
only manufactured in a 120V version but it can be used successfully
in Europe as long as a transformer of sufficient capacity is
used.
Q) Why must I provide my Social Security number when I make
my application as a distributor?
A) The IRS requires it. The IRS requires those in our form of
business to withhold 31% of any commission check when the
distributor has not provided a Social Security number.
Q) Is there a carrying bag specially designed for the Chi
Machine and HotHouse?
A) Yes. We do have carrying bags for the Chi Machine and
HotHouse.
Q) The new Chi Machine seems noisier. Is it functioning
properly?
A) Yes, this is normal to hear some noise from the machine when
it is in operation. No functions of the machine have changed and
every machine makes noise when it's working. According to a Japanese
Skylite company technician, noise under 70db is considered normal.
NOTICE: Any machine returned to us because of noise which is tested
and shown to have a level at or below 70db will not be covered under
warrant service. All costs, including labor charges involved in such
a return, will be the responsibility of the sender.
Q) I am tax exempt purchaser. I provided all proper
documentation after I had placed an order. Why can't I get a refund
of the tax that was charged me on that order?
A) At the time we processed your order, we had no knowledge about
your tax-exempt status. All orders must be reported and filed with
your state tax department after invoicing. Once filed, orders are
not supposed to be changed. Distributors with tax exempt privilege
must provide legible and complete documentation at the time the
order is placed.
